Even if the login link changes to outlook.com, your @hotmail.com address is still valid and you can continue to use it to send and receive e-mail. There is no need to change the e-mail address you provide to others. Your @hotmail.com address will continue to work properly, and all e-mails sent to it will arrive correctly in your Inbox.

Connecting a hotmail account to outlook 2013 - Microsoft Community
Replied on February 19, 2017. Report abuse. Open the Mail applet in Control Panel. Click the Email Accounts button. Select your Hotmail account and remove it. Now add it back in again, specifying only your address and password. Allow Outlook to configure the account automatically. It should come back and work properly.
